MIDNITE RAZORS NEWS

On June 1st, the first (title) track from the new concept album MADHOUSE ROCK was released on YouTube. It is the first new song released by Midnite Razors since January 2026.

 

The second track, titled PATIENTS OF THIS WORLD, will be released on YouTube on Thursday, June 4th. 

 

Each song is a chapter of a cohesive story that takes place entirely in an asylum. 

 

Expect big things. This album rocks!

 

Approximate release date on Spotify: late June or early July 2026.

Apache se vyjadřuje ke každé položce na novém albu

  ILLUSTRATED WOMAN Vždycky jsme chtěli udělat AOR song. A tady je. Možná není dokonalý, ale je náš. Záměr byl co nejvíce se přiblížit soundu eponymního alba kapely Heart z roku 1985 a napodobit tak práci producenta Rona Nevisona. Myslím, že místy se to docela povedlo, hlavně hned v úvodu. Jo, kdyby tohle produkoval Ron, to by bylo… Ale i tak jsem s výsledkem nadmíru spokojený. INSPIRACE: Heart 1985 (hudebně), Blue Öyster Cult (textově).   WELCOME Co by to bylo za epické "koncepční" album bez stylového atmosférického intra. Myslím, že původní záměr tady vyšel na sto procent.  Někdo se může divit proč intro následuje až po první skladbě. Ale to je dáno chronologií hlavního příběhu, kdy je nutno nejdříve najít cestu k portálu a teprve pak jím projít do světa Midnite Razors. Uvítání musí tedy logicky následovat až poté. Apache comments on each song on the new album

ILLUSTRATED WOMAN We always wanted to do an AOR song. And here it is. It may not be perfect, but it is ours. The intention was to get as close as possible to the sound of the eponymous album of the band Heart from 1985 and thus imitate the work of producer Ron Nevison. I think this was quite successful in some places, especially in the opening. Yeah, if Ron had produced this, that would be… But I am still extremely happy with the result. INSPIRATION: Heart 1985 (musically), Blue Öyster Cult (lyrically).   WELCOME What kind of epic "concept" album would it be without a stylish atmospheric intro? I think the original intention came out 100 percent here. Some may wonder why the intro follows only after the first song. It's due to the chronology of the main story, where you first have to find your way to the portal and only then go through it to the world of Midnite Razors.
